Oona Chaplin

Oona Castilla Chaplin is a Spanish actress. She is the daughter of Geraldine Chaplin, granddaughter of English film star Charlie Chaplin and the greatgranddaughter of American playwright Eugene ONeill. She is known for playing the role of Talisa Maegyr in HBOs series Game of Thrones.

Oona Chaplin was born in Madrid to AngloAmerican actress Geraldine Chaplin and Chilean cinematographer Patricio Castilla, and was named after her maternal grandmother, Oona ONeill Chaplin. She spent her childhood mostly in Spain, Great Britain, Switzerland, and Cuba, but also travelled often because of her mothers film career. She started dancing ballet, salsa and flamenco at an early age.
